Providing a safe and healthy conference environment for all attendees and IACET staff is our top priority. The CDC has updated their guidance to state “in light of evidence related to the Delta variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the CDC updated its guidance to recommend that even people who are fully vaccinated wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission, or if they have had a known exposure to someone with COVID-19 and have not had a subsequent negative test 3–5 days after the last date of that exposure.” To reduce the spread of COVID-19, all conference participants (vaccinated or unvaccinated) will wear a face mask or covering at all times in the hotel and conference areas. We will also have a colored lanyard system denoting attendees comfort level with hand shaking and preferred distance from other attendees. Please visit the Hyatt Regency’s website to learn more about their policies on hygiene and safety measures due to COVID-19.
