During its annual meeting on September 24, 2015 in Chicago, IL, the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) will present its 2015 Awards. These honorees are deserving individuals, innovators, projects, or programs who have significantly contributed to the field of continuing education and training.
"IACET is pleased to recognize these winners as representing the highest quality in adult training and education today. Each winner has accomplished outstanding results through a keen focus on best practice standards and protocols in the field of continuing adult education in the workplace. Today, employee learning is faster paced and more in demand than ever before. We welcome the accomplishments of our award winners as truly representative of IACET's accreditation practice for ongoing employee training and development." said Sandy Williams, IACET Chair.
In addition to the awards presentation, Dr. William Rothwell will present the findings from a recent research study in talent development. Through a collaborative partnership between ATD, Rothwell & Associates and IACET, the research team led by Dr. Rothwell implemented a study to investigate these questions: “Have the competencies of instructional design changed? Should they change? How has instructional design (ID) evolved over the past few decades?”
This event is open to IACET members, authorized providers (APs) and invited guests as well as media. For media inquiries, please contact Amy Lotz at alotz@iacet.org.
