New Commissioners for the ANSI/IACET 1-2018 Standard for Continuing Education and Training Accreditation
It is with great pleasure that IACET announces the new members of the Commission for accreditation to the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard for Continuing Education & Training (the Standard).
Earlier this year IACET published a call for CE/T commissioners and was fortunate to attract numerous highly qualified individuals. The interest of so many applicants demonstrates the importance and appeal of IACET Accreditation. These new commissioners will support IACET’s mission to advance quality Continuing Education and Training through accreditation.
The new and returning Commissioners will be working together to determine compliance to the Standard through evidence submitted in the application for IACET Accreditation. The new Commissioners are:

- Rafael Rodriguez, The Executive Director of Professional E-Learning Connect at Universidad Ana G. Méndez in Puerto Rico.
- Tim Azbill, Director, LJB University
- Wendi F. Siegel, Ed.D.Director of CORE Curriculum Options for Required Education for the Florida Association for Child Care Management
- Ana Ma. Novillo Rameix Executive Director for Escuela de Empresas in Quito Ecuador
- Jessica Backes Principal Safety Professional for The Walt Disney Company
- William Curcio, Safety, Training & Security Program Manager for the City of San Diego - Public Utilities Department
- Sally Morgan, Assistant Director-Accreditation for Duke University Health System
IACET is keen to prepare the new commissioners to support and evaluate IACET Accredited Providers and applicants. New and returning commissioners will gather together at the end of this month in Baltimore to begin the crucial work of reviewing applications for IACET accreditation.
