‘Tis the Season!
We are in the middle of the Holiday Season, and I truly hope that you are entering modes of relaxation, reflection, and spending some quality time with self, friends, and/or family. I read somewhere, probably on social media, that 2020 showed up with a wig on disguised as 2021! I’ll say! We were challenged again, yet we persevered.
Meetings and conferences reconvened with virtual options. Industries remain challenged with a shortage of employees/staff to conduct the business of the day. Do I need to mention the travel industry shortage? I didn’t think so. Anyone who is back on the road can tell you - it ain’t a glamourous as it used to be!
The work continues. Even through the disruptions. We strive to set the stage for effective organizational leadership and planning for future success and growth. The Town Hall Meeting to inform the affiliate ship about the proposed changes to the Bylaws on December 1, 2021 was well-attended. It showed the level of engagement we want to see from our affiliates. You and your organizations are the beneficiary of the work we do here at IACET. We are committed to strengthening our governance structure and operationalizing the way we serve you!

She is a recognized leader in adult and continuing education and has over 20 years of experience in higher education, continuing and professional studies, and workforce development. Prior to joining IACET as CEO, Casandra was the Vice President of Education Services for the American Gear Manufacturers Association where she led the organization’s effort in achieving and maintaining IACET accreditation.
